The BBC's Holiday programme recently published a list of the top 50 places to see before you die as voted for by the British public. l regret to say it, but I've only been to five of them; Cape Town (#5), Hong Kong (#22), Paris (#27), Singapore (#39) and Bangkok (#42). And actually I only remember the airports of HK, Singapore and Bangkok! Does that make me sad? Maybe if I'm thinking that I could count Disney World, Florida (#3) as a sixth one since I've been to EuroDisney... Come on, we all know "the magic" is the same. How many have you been to? If you're reading from somewhere exotic (and actually even if you're not), do sign my guest map!

Here's the most ridiculous story of the week. It does make me feel a little hungry though. My stomach's making strange noises. See if you can guess where I'm about to go for a bite.

"One Ring to rule them all.

England 32 31 Australia

Man, that was a good match. I was fraternising with the enemy again like last weekend, shouting at them their team... I couldn't help it, they were so weak! Tell me, was there or was there not an Aussie on the ground injured almost every single time there was a break in play? I mean come on. This isn't schoolboy rugby. But what I love most about the whole thing is the way Wilkinson nowadays just kicks the opposition into submission. Always, straight through the middle between the uprights. Simple. Effective. Yeah baby!

Marathon Training

Help, I've just come back from a 50 minute run and I'm gonna die. It feels good though. I took my walkman with me because I think it helps me not to walk all of it. I went right through Regent's Park, up Primrose Hill, then round the west side of the park and back home.

Going up Primrose Hill was definitely the hardest part. On came "No Woman No Cry" (for your information a 7:07 minute long track) about half way down the Regent's Park Broadwalk and I got to the top of Primrose Hill before the end. But to be honest, it took all of Mr Marley and the Wailers' consoling to stop me from shedding a few tears.

Just go read the first paragraph of this really, REALLY useful article on what to do if under a terrorist attack...

Got some new running shoes yesterday so training for the marathon can begin! (...tomorrow... if it's not too wet... and if I wake up in time to leave an hour or so before the rugby match versus the Aussies...)

Okay, okay you got me, so I'm surfing the web at work... Here's a really useful browser for making it subtle.
