Just over a month on from starting my stock predictions and investing a virtual £100k, I'm about £240 in the black! Is anyone willing to make a donation to the Dave Butler Trustfund to make the virtual £100k not so virtual?

The Gauntlet

Does anyone remember that game in Gladiators called "The Gauntlet" where the poor challenger, about as big as one of the gladiator's biceps, had to run down this half pipe and try to get past five or six human brick walls? They invariably nearly killed themselves in the attempt. Anyway, that's what it's beginning to feel like walking down Tottenham Court Rd. The challengers are still members of the general public but the gladiators are substituted by "chuggers" or "charity muggers." You really regret it if you do start to talk to one of them. They do a core information dump on you. I've started to say, "I'll look at the website" (which I do!) just so that I don't get stuck there, noticing everybody else walking past having a that-muppet-got-stopped smile on their faces. There must be better ways of raising money...

Wait, hold on... one of the best movies ever made is showing later tonight. Channel 5 presents, at 6pm, The Goonies! Yeah baby. ~~Why isn't this out on DVD in UK yet?~~

Turned into a snowman walking into work today. Snow wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so cold. Am currently having my deskfast trying to defrost!

Darts is not a sport in my opinion. Players of a sport must be athletes. It's not terribly interesting, but it is strangely watchable. This guy Tony David is a bit of a legend actually, even though he's Australian. (We don't like them because of the Ashes... even though we whipped them in the 5th Test...)

Resolution #3

Blog far less frequently... only joking! Have been quite busy with a little 3D computer graphics program. It's quite cool but more about that later.

My quest is almost accomplished! When you search for "David Butler" in Google, Nimisis.com comes up at number 2 out of 1.2 million! Yeah baby.
