China. The questions being asked by a nation's population says a lot about that country. Baidu has recently published what people in China are searching for. I'm sure there are some cultural observations to make here. As for other countries, well Google also has a Zeitgeist page you might want to check out.

MyHeritage.com has a page where you can upload your photo and have it compared to their database of celebrities. Do you really look like a movie star? I doubt it! (Registration required.)

Rent out your parking space

Finding a parking space near your train station or place of work is difficult to start with, finding a cheap one is nigh on impossible. So, someone made ParkatmyHouse.com. Seems like a great idea. They take 10% of the rent, but that seems reasonable!

Read more books

If one of your New Years resolutions was to do more reading, Daily Lit might be a site you should visit. They have a bunch of books to choose from and the innovative thing about this is that you get to read them in bitesize sections via emails, scheduled to arrive in your inbox, say, at 9am every weekday if you want. What a great idea!
