Went along to a training session for OxbridgeTutors today and have signed up with the intention of becoming the tutor and spiritual guru of some poor git student. Think it might be quite fun, especially since I've never formally taught anyone anything before. Don't know how I'm going to find the time... I seem to have signed myself up for lots of things lately... I discovered that there is a first aid course centre just round the corner from me. I think I'll get onto that as well. Seems like a worthwhile thing to do!

I'm thinking about applying to be on The Weakest Link. Here's where to find the application form if anyone else is also interested in coming face to face with Anne Robinson. I may try to get in the audience (of TWL or some other show) first to gauge how scary it is though. Big Brother 4? No way!
My mobile phone is packing up. I've got to get a new one, preferably one with those mp3 ring tones instead of the tinny bleepy ones. One of the guys in the office has the sound of cows mooing. The newer phones seem to emit less radiation too, so if I can't afford a newer model I guess I may have to get some of these anti-radiation pants!

I'm very glad that nothing really horrific happened on the anniversary of 9-11. A few people did do some pretty silly things though!

This is old news but I want to crack this one: "If your surname was V**gra could you live it down?" One guy with the surname "C**lis" is suing because, unfortunately for him, C**lis is the brand name of a v**gra rival. I'd be miffed...

Today was my first day at work and by and large it went well. Got my own desk, nice computer and some interesting work! The guys are cool too, including my supervisor. I think I'm going to like it there.
On a random tangent, filling out my bank details reminded me of this story.
