Most of the graduates in the other offices know me as "the Feng Shui guy" now after my presentation... so it must've been all right. If it wasn't at least I can't be accused of being unoriginal! The conference was cool though. Reading University seems like an ideal location for a graduate conference and a nice place to study too. Great bar. No photos unfortunately, <whisper> I think the partners would have a particular interest in censoring any pictures of themselves! </whisper>

That's nothing!

Oh no! Not an earthquake measuring 4.8! Wimps.

Wish someone would do my ironing for me! I need some presentable shirts because I've got to go to a conference for a couple of days as part of my graduate training. I've got to give a presentation about Feng Shui too... Thing is I don't know the first thing about FS! This may get embarrassing.

If anyone's looking for a room to rent in Central London (W1H), there are 4 rooms free in this house. It's situated just off Baker Street and Marylebone Road. 130 p/w... and you get me for a housemate - talk about value!

President Bush and Colin Powell are sitting in a bar.

A guy walks in and asks the barman, "Isn't that Bush and Powell sitting over there?"

St. Matthew's Day

St. Matthew's day is on the 21st and the reason I mention this is because it is a tradition of my old school to march through the City of London every year on St. Matthew's day (or on the Fri around when it is). Lead by the school band we all group according to our boarding houses, and march past bewildered pedestrians (because of our strange uniforms), avoid the evidence of the presence of mounted police and go to see the Lord Mayor. It's all good fun. Can't go to see them this year since I'm working but this website has some good photos.
