Checking Google's robots.txt file, the file that tells other search engines what part of a website they can or cannot index, sometimes throws up interesting hints as to what might be coming next. A new website is now available for those who want to find free wifi hotspots for surfing the internet on a laptop when away from home.
The site's called Wifi-o-maniac and uses Google Maps to chart hotspot locations. You can even add your own that are not already in the database.

There are lots of interesting people at the new church I've just started to attend - St Helen's Bishopsgate. One of them is Andy Geers, who makes Christian computer games as a way of teaching the Bible. I recommend his blog too!

Got a free ticket to a Traders University seminar from Knowledge to Action yesterday. Thought I was going to learn more about trading strategies - turns out it's all about spread betting (aka momentum/swing trading). Be aware that this IS gambling people! It was all extremely disorganised but there were interesting parts to it. At the end they asked for £3K to attend a 2-day course... to which I said no thanks.
