Shooting My Colleagues

Went paintballing with the firm yesterday, supposedly as a bonding exercise but who am I kidding - we were shooting each other. The Mayhem paintball complex was like an Al-Quaeda training camp. There were about 200 people including our party of 20, all in camouflage with masks. The mask is needed to prevent paintballs (travelling at a little over 200mph) from blinding you but I found that it also helped preserve some anonymity when I shot my own teammates. Come on, I bet you couldn't overcome the temptation if no enemies were around and you had a clear shot in front! You know, when there's no one else about you get a bit bored... The whole day was madness, people were coming out with, "I just want my gun", "Agincourt!", "Shoot 'em in the head!" Anyway, me? 8 confirmed, 5 probable. I'm happy with that. I may not get promoted for a while though... The photos are here.

Me, A Marathon Runner

Am I going mad? I'm going to apply to be in the London marathon! Think it'll be a good laugh actually, and a good reason to keep fit. Am definitely starting to look a bit lardy and harpoonable. To confirm that I'm losing my marbles I decided to go along with J's suggestion and went for supper at an Afghan restaurant tonight. There was even what I reckon was a picture of the Tora Bora cave complex in the corner... It has to be said however that they did serve great food. Yum.

I'm almost certain that people in the office hide in the toilets when there are deadlines to be met. I just quite simply cannot find people when I most need them... ah, there she is!

Dave Butler, I Want You!

A couple of days ago I typed "David Butler" into Google and found out that this site only ranked around 115th. I'm sure we can do better than that. To have nimisis.com appear top is my goal. This is my Everest! So come on and give me some encouragement, if your name's David Butler (or Dave Butler... even Davie Butler, though I feel sorry for you) then please let me know that you came by leaving a comment below. We'll bond over the ether. I realise that this is very similar to the Dave Gorman thing but let's just go with it. There must surely be way more Butlers than Gormans on this planet.
