Really looking forward to the Rugby match versus the All Blacks on Saturday. We're going to deck them. Just to educate myself I found out what the Haka actually means in English today. Now that I know it's a load of nonsense it's hard to take it seriously! But apparently there is a proper explanation and history to it.
I'm going to watch the match with a bunch of Kiwis which will make victory oh so sweet. It's the Alpha weekend away down in Eastbourne and three of the people in the group come from New Zealand. In fact there are loads of them in church. Anyway, we're going to do Eastbourne and check out all the old people. I've been warned that because most people down there are over 75 they whack the heating in the hotel on full blast! Had better start packing a few t-shirts...

I can't tell you the things we get up to in the office when the boss is out... but I can show you!
Imagine being married for 85 years! These guys don't have to. Only in Taiwan.

Despite the wet weather some friends and I went to Hampton Court yesterday for a cultural excursion. Was very impressed! The maze was quite easy actually although we may have just been lucky... or maybe I cheated beforehand and looked at a map. No, I didn't really but there is one here. The Longleat maze is quite a bit more challenging though...

A rejection letter from Microsoft for a place on their graduate scheme appeared on my doorstep yesterday, dated FOUR MONTHS after I was told I had got a second round interview. Am annoyed. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I'll admit that the appeal of MS was the XBox and the possibility of working on that, but then again thinking about it the video gaming industry may not be the best thing to go into, with some other companies behaving quite disgracefully too. They do make great games though. Look at the name of the guy in the picture of this latter article. Is this a joke?
