Extra Mile Algo Standard

I've invented my own little standard for folk who put source code for algorithms on the web. It's called the Extra Mile Algo Standard (EMAS for short), the reason being that it requires the publisher to put a tiny bit more effort into how they present their work. It should be worth it though!

More details are here, together with an example. All comments are very welcome.

Tags: algorithm, programming, code, software

Entry 335

Interesting read from HowStuffWorks.com about how The Da Vinci Code (movie version soon to be released) doesn't work. Well, that's pretty obvious...

Tags: Da Vinci Code

Entry 275

Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code is really very good I thought. I polished it off over the weekend. However, as Tom Wright says, it's lousy history. There's going to be a program on this Thursday called "the Real Da Vinci Code". Shall be interested in what's said there...

Tags: Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown
