Spore UK release date set

Spore, the game that everybody was talking about at E3 in 2006 is set for UK release on Dec 12, 2007 for the PC. Here's a video to show what all the fuss was about (18 mins)

It would be very nice if we could hear exactly where this information comes from, as we have had several "official" release dates before. This date, as it stands now without any credibility, seems like just another speculative comment.

nothing is official until EA or Maxis or Will Wright gives a date...which hasn't happened yet, the last I heard it was Q2 or Q3 2007

all swedish stores anounce that it\'ll be released in Q4 2007. And they add that it's just a preliminary date and might be changed :P soo... I guess we'll have to wait for aa loooong time anyway

if you look on wikipedia, it actually sais that it will be released between 1st july 2007, and 31st march 2008
