The subject of buying a house is a favourite topic of conversation here in London. So I thought I would write this little online calculator to help people work out what refinancing and loan consolidation they would need to do before they could become homeowners! It will work out what your monthly mortgage payments will be if you take out a loan of value P to be repaid after N years at an interest rate of z%.
The formula is:
where z = Z / 100.

This is version 1.0. The GUI will be made to look a bit better and maybe a graph will be drawn of the amount owed over time.

The applet takes a few seconds to load. If it takes longer, check that your computer is able to view java applets.
