Keep track of Beijing Olympics 2008

Google have made a useful tool to track the many events at this year's summer Olympics.

Btw, wasn't the opening ceremony brilliant?! I'm thinking London 2012 might struggle past having a penny farthing and some chubby monarchs!

You can't afford a decent logo for London 2012?!

When the original bid to host the Olympics in 2012 was accepted there was already a perfectly good logo. A bit boring perhaps, but, you know, it wasn't humiliating... it didn't show complete ineptitude. Now they've gone and replaced it with something that looks like a broken swastika. Over 80% of 17000+ votes cast on the BBC website give it the wooden spoon.

Come on guys! The budget is £2.4bn (July 2005) £9.35bn (March 2007)!
